Chrisp (1882 - 1971)   Atlantic Sturgeon (Acipenser oxyrhynchus, long nosed)  The artist was best known for his stunning illustrations of fish in and around the New England and Atlantic coasts – he was commissioned by New York State Dept. of Conservation to do many of the illustrations of fish that also served as guidelines for anglers in those areas.
